Assignment 2: Two-point Perspective Drawing
Question: How do expectations change an environment?
We have expectations all the time, because of those expectations, it makes us want to be in certain places or do certain things. Think about how your expectations change when you are in different environments. Everyone has different expectations and ideas about certain places, people, or things.
Examples:
Religious building
cemetery
movie theater
friends house
family reunion
shopping store
doctor's office
school
museum
pet store
city sidewalk
ASSIGNMENT/ART PROJECT: create a room or place using 2 point perspective. Can be interior (inside) or exterior (outside). Make your environment personal based on your expectations for how it should look,feel, and sound.
Must show
-Make at least 2 rough sketches
-Overlap objects/buildings
- Shading
-Draw personal Details (in building or in a room)
-Show correct 2 point perspective
-Use whole sheet of paper

He is known for his often mathematically inspired artworks. These feature impossible constructions, explorations of infinity, architecture, and perspective.
Escher was regularly heard to complain about his lack of natural drawing ability and as a result most of his pieces took a long time to complete, and required numerous attempts before he was completely happy.In his youth he concentrated on landscapes, many of which were drawn from unusual perspectives like what we are doing!
